Ridžensi stil, džordžijanska epoha, 19.vek

Ridženski stil pripada epohi ranog 19. veka, odnosno poznodžordžijanskog perioda, s obzirom na činjenicu da je nastao u Engleskoj.  Karakteriše ga vraćanje drevnim egipatskim i starorimskim motivima, poput antropomorfnih i životinjskih maski, ali i onim klasičnim kakve us rozete, bogatstvo i složenost rezbarija i delikatan, oslikan kolorit.

Regency style, Georgian period, 19 century

Regency style belongs to the period of early 19 century, i.e. the late Georgian period, in view of the fact that it originated in England. It is characterized by the return to ancient Egyptian and Roman motifs, such as anthropomorphous motifs and animal masks, but also classical ones such as rosettes, elaborate and complex fretwork, and delicate painted colours.

période géorgienne en Angleterre. Il se caractérise par un retour aux motifs de
l’Égypte ancienne et de la Rome antique, tels que les masques anthropomorphes

complexité des sculptures et l’élégance de la polychromie peinte.
