In the course of 19 century, Spanish particularity in the art of interior decoration was manifested in the styles reflecting national identity. Flamboyant details in warm colours are combined in the traditional style. Spanish furniture designers were focused on traditional forms, including elements inspired by the Moor and Gothic traditions. Rich coloration with picturesque polychromy was used to complement the design.
